How I make more money in 4 hours than in 2 weeks at my full-time job.
The Magic of Flipping stuff.
$2300.
This is how much I earn in gross when I work for 70 hours at my full-time job as a Stone Mason.
$2500 is what I am going to make with just 4 hours of effort by flipping used items.
The difference speaks for itself.
$33/hour vs $625/hour.
Which one would you take?
In this article, I want to show you what I do, how I do it, and what mistakes to avoid.
How I make Money flipping used Stuff.

Note before we get started.
Flipping is buying items cheaply and then reselling them for a profit.
Contrary to popular belief, anyone can flip items and it requires no capital to get started, and I will show you how you can get into it in a minute.
But first, how is it possible to make $2500 in just 4 hours of flipping?
$2500 in 4 hours.
“High Risk, High Reward.”
It’s a timeless principle.
Think:
- Gambling
- Trading Crypto
- Starting a Business
These are all activities that on the one hand can ruin us financially, but on the other, can also make us filthy rich.
Flipping items is similar: you bet your money to buy an item, you think will resell for a higher value.
Bringing this back to the original question: “How does one make $2500 in 4 hours of flipping?”
- Find an expensive item.
- Buy it below market rates.
- Optional: Give it a Service.
- Sell it at the middle market rate.
In my case, I have bought a 2011 Suzuki Swift for $3500.
And used a car price-finding software to check the value.

The lowest value listing went for $5000, I could rake in at least $2500 in profit if the car stood in perfect condition.
Warning: Never calculate with the high number.
If you take a look at the above screenshot, you will see that a lot of the same cars are being listed for up to $15,000. Don’t use the top market value.
Always stay on the safe side and use one of the lowest values to decide if the car is worth flipping. You will thank me later.
Now that I bought the car, was it in perfect condition?
It was not.
The car had hail damage and paint stripping, but the engine and all other components were functioning perfectly. I will now clean, paint, and detail the car, then sell it.
Easy profit.
I hear you saying: “This sounds great, Martin, but I can’t afford to risk $3500 to flip a car. I have bills to pay!”
Luckily, there is another way.
How I make money selling free stuff.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
One of my favorite ways of sourcing items is to get them for free, and there are many ways to go about it.
- Sell stuff I have lying around
- Find items on the Curb of the road
- Sell items for friends and take a cut
- Find items on Facebook Marketplace
- Ask Construction Workers to take their trash
The other day, I picked up a coffee table for free, which I wanted to sell for $250. I ended up selling it today for $90.
Not too bad for less than 1 hour and $5 of petrol.
What are you waiting for?
There is no secret to know.
You will find everything
g out when you do it.
The most important part is to get started and stay consistent with it.
This is the reason why I’m starting a 30-day flipping challenge in April, in which I will list 1 new item every day for the whole month.
Join me!
And before you go…
